Yeah, I see the forecast for here has changed a bit. It was originally supposed to end at 5 o'clock with 3-5". We are past that amount already and are supposed to get another 1-3 before it ends in the 8 o'clock hour. I'm glad I got about 5" pushed off the driveway because it's not going to be so pleasant shoveling tomorrow when it is around 0 degrees. Michael

Got home tonight in the middle of a down pour. A large branch broke off a tree, blocking the driveway. Luckily I was wearing my Akubra Camp Draft which just laughed at the weather.
Good thing the rain cooperated to bump this thread. No chance for us getting our hats wet here in Oregon anytime soon. My hats have braved the sunshine with vigor.
We needed the rain bad. Soft & gentle most of the day, the intensity picked up late evening for a while. This hat is one of a couple that hang inside the back door. It sheds water for a good while but will eventually collect in the front dip. But has never soaked thru.
Yesterday I was wearing my tawny fawn Federation IV as the remains of Florence dropped on the Pittsburgh area. Nothing in comparison to what others have had to deal with but it was a day of constant rain. This rain pattern was just walking from the garage to the house - about 10 feet.
