Si. I only recall the label being used in their Cafe style jackets. I’m no Aero expert though.

I believe that only Thurston Bros. has the license to use the Buco label in the US, and RMC in Japan, so you can order an Aero via them with this label.

I think I read here years ago that for the US market only Thurston has license. I could be wrong. Maybe there’s no issues with Buco license in the UK.

You guys ever watch the movie "******"? Some amazing jackets in this, especially Brad Pitt's character (shearling peacoat) and the Sol character (leather peacoat with mutton collar). And many, many street gangster "Teamster" style leather car coats. Unfortunately not a lot of clean photos but worth a watch 1) because it's a great movie 2) the coats are top notch.

The back of my mind tells me Aero does have a license to use the Buco label the rights might be limited to their reproduction of Buco's J-100

I was browsing through some old pics on my iPhone thinking it's time to start cleaning up a bit as I literally saved tens of thousands of unsorted leather jacket pics and my phone is now running out of space. Apparently I started thinking about buying a serious leather jacket somewhere end 2018. I saved numerous pics of brown aviator / crosszip halfbelts because that was my first idea of the perfect leather jacket. And what do you know, one of those pics showed @ton312 wearing this RL crosszip. A jacket I'd later own myself. A jacket now owned by @Imuricecreamman . I don't know where this story is going. Just thought it was funny that before I became active on tfl I saved this pic of some guy wearing a cool jacket, not knowing it was Tony wearing the RL.

Any more tfl members owning or having owned this jacket? We could make a collage lol.

I ordered an Aero Buco J-100 through Thurston Brothers. Since I had mine made with Badalassi (which is steerhide), I was told I couldn't get the Buco label. Guess it has to be horsehide for TB to use that label.

Actually, I find these shirts for everyday life rather impractical, but in these pictures I find it somehow quite cool. But will still not buy one.
