Ooh, that Woodrow Bowler is so nice, Randy. Great dimensions. If ever you visit London be sure to take it with you. It will so right (back) at home there.

A new to me post-war Woodrow bowler in Radium (mid-grey indoors and I would call it silver-grey in direct sun). A great hand on this one - very smooth - and very thin. In fact, this is the first bowler I've handled I would actually call a feather weight. I don't have scales but I'm certain this unlined, thin felt is 1/3 less weight than other, traditional lined bowlers I have in my collection. One picture is with my C&K bowler and my Kaller bowler. As you can see, while the sides are curved more agressively on the Woodrow, all the dimensions are about 1/4 inch less than the other two examples. The crown may even be 1/2 inch shorter.

Fits great and looks good. Like some panama's, it is so light I hardly know I'm wearing it.

A huge Thank You to my friend, Stafan @steur for letting me be the caretaker of this great London hat. :)

Two beautiful looking Borsalino Clubs, Stefan. I can almost feel the wonderful felt from your photos.
Really love that Mossant, too. Wonderful wide ribbon and bow. I'd also say pre-war.

Borsalino Club Gran Lusso in bismuto colour. Size 56, with the overwelt brim at 5cm and the crown 11cm at the center dent. Equally fantastic felt as the mirtillo one. This one weighs 98 grams, while it's companion was slightly heavier at 105 grams.

Thanks Joe. Ja, you always regret the one that got away. Luckily, there's always another one that comes up sooner or later.

I love that style bowler on you Steve. I think if I do decide to add another bowler at some point it will be one with the tighter brim curl like yours. I missed on a fantastic one @BobHufford tipped me off to not to long back and kinda regretted it.

That is one seriously great find, Mike. Congrats!

Don't know if this No1 Quality Arminto will squeak into the Pre 40' Stetson Western thread or not!?
Early transitional handwritten manufacturing label. If a consensus arrives I'll do some cleanup here and move to a more specific thread for posterity's sake ; )
