C'est tres belle.
I bought this hat on Saturday morning from a yard sale for 25 cents. I think I did all right. Sized 7 ¼ - 6 – 59 no model name. No mothholes or nibbles nice and clean. I am very happy and my first Borsalino. It even has a wind cord! All for a quarter!

VM... dunk the whole hat in water till it is soaked.
Be sure to do this when you can wear it til it is dry.
The palm leafs likes and needs a dunking ever so often.
You can also shape it with ease when it has been dunked.
Oh cool thanks for the advice any tips on the gap on the bibbon

Yessss what a tip worked like a dream thanksIf the dunking doesn't do it, you can stretch one side of the ribbon using moisture and an iron, as in the first box on this page: http://lynnmcmasters.com/petersham.html
I've done this with vintage grosgrain and it worked well.
