Great hat! I especially like the sweatband. I'm assuming that is ostrich skin. How does it feel on your forehead?

Thanks Mike, it is ostrich and it feels the same to me as a smooth one but I've been accused of having a thick head and no feelings. Imagine it would help ventilate a bit better but it's too cold around here to find out now.

Thank you for the notes! Mike, I have but one of these. I am really a home body by nature. The only other Dunlap I own is the half fur/half straw duplex posted earlier this year.

Collins & Fairbanks silk plush top hat c.1920s

Trying to catch up with a few hats purchased over the last month. Here is a silk top hat in almost original condition.

Alan, that Dunlap is gorgeous. What a stunner, not to mention the most perfect diamond crease I've ever seen.

The topper is another winner! I'm fixated on the sweatband texture. Very cool.
