Question about my snap baily panama

whenever you have it snapped down all around, it doesn't look right, I can snap the back up and have the front down, but still..... doesn't look quite right.

Can these hats be shaped?:eusa_doh:

Not too sure about a Baily. I would presume so, but I think some of our resident hat makers & experts on Panamas would know best.

Strange....I am reading this...with a vintage Bailey Panama on my head right now. Up in back, down in front...and looks great! If you would share a picture of yours we can perhaps give you better advice.

Okay the hat is like "bell shaped" Here are some pictures, LOL>

The hat seems more "roundy" for a hat, Especially in the front brim from the side views.

In looking at the pictures, I think the "hat" looks terrific. Perhaps what makes you uncomfortable is the high crown and small ribbon band. Perhaps a wider ribbon band would suit you more. I believe this crown in 4.5 inches right?
