The latest in the everything-old-is-new-again dept. is the "new" Band-Aid boxes at Osco that look like they are right out of a field medics bag in WWII. Just a plain white box with the red cross in the center with Band-Aid Bandages at the top. Thats it, no big deal but kind of cool for a first aid kit. And I really couldn't help myself from buying them.

Coming soon, if they haven't already: repros of golden-era metal condom tins. Flat, round or square, always small. (The tins, not the condoms ... I think.)

The antique originals were pretty nice, actually. "Sheik" was a '20s favorite.
