From my personal collection is this custom made fedora from the late 1940s to early 1950s. The gray is a bit darker than what's shown in the pics. It's tagged a 7 3/8 with a bound 2 3/4" brim and 6" crown open. The ribbon is navy in a puggaree style you commonly see on panama hats. The sweat is still very supple. It's lined in maroon satin with a cool graphic of the Congressional Medal of Honor. I don'y know if that was the Dorsey Jay logo or if the original owner had that added since it's a custom hat. It's in very good condition with some small moth divots near the ribbon edge. I'll post pics asap.
