The authenticated 1881 tintype sold at auction last yr of Morgan Earp & wife, Doc Holliday & Kate Elder among others, known as "The Picnic". Taken on Morgan Earp's 30th birthday, 6 months before the shootout at the OK Corral.
1913 would have been the yr Begay & John Wetherill guided Zane Gray on their second expedition (Gray's first) to the Natural bridge in Utah.I love that pic.
Ozark County, Missouri (c. 1915 - 1920). As today ... always be sure to bring a good hat, a varmint *** and enough beverages for everyone when venturing out in the woods.

And keep your finger inside the trigger guard and make sure you point the *** at your friend. I’d have some words for that fella if he was at my range or at my camp.
John Lofgren Monkey Boots Shinki Horsebuttt - $1,136 The classic monkey boot silhouette in an incredibly rich Shinki russet horse leather.
Grant Stone Diesel Boot Dark Olive Chromexcel - $395 Goodyear welted, Horween Chromexcel, classic good looks.
Schott 568 Vandals Jacket - $1,250 The classic Perfecto motorcycle jacket, in a very special limited-edition Schott double rider style. Seeing the photo of Zane Grey made me remember my grand mother told me her father [my great grand father AP Dodd] loved Zane Grey. He would read his books over and over.
She also told of the time he got to see the Buffalo Bill Wild West Show. I believe in 1895 in Birminham Alabama.
My great grand father.
