I have finally made it through all 184 pages of pure class and glamour and feel ready to post my first post

I've been experimenting with ways to curl my hair and was inspired by this picture of Rita Hayworth

Here is the result, excuse the uncomfortable look, I hate my pic being taken, even if it's me taking it! lol

That is really beautiful
And we're all a bit uncomfy in front of a camera I think

In 2006 I looked like this:

Lots of curls all over and it was pure laziness really

The other day we had a gathering at the studio and I decided to do something
special for the evening. Not sure how "special" it became, but I had a young
Bette Davis in mind. Much younger than me, I might add lol

And it's similar to the style in the first piccie, just a bit less curls and an old hair jewelery that my Granny left me a long time ago

I don't have one single natural curl btw. They're all fake

Norty_Lady....thank you....and yes there's a similar look to the second picture and the one you posted The hairstyle is similar Those curls btw was a pain...hehe Took a lot of hairspray to get them to stay in place

And I was born and raised in Sweden, but I've lived all over the place So I've got a lot more than one language in my backpack. I probably understand Danish the same way you understand Swedish.

Went back to Sweden a few years ago from the US and then decided to settle down here in the UK
Love can make you do the most weird things, ya know...lol

sounds like you have had some amazing times.. I moved from Copenhagen to Malmö because prices on houses/apartments were getting ridiculous, so I am slowly learning Swedish, but I can understand/talk it much better than I write it.

Today was the Hair class that Rusty Frank taught here in LA.

So here is my hair...

Rolls using ratts ....I am a klutz so they are not super good....

Pseudo rolls using combs...

Miss N, this is the first pic I have seen of you done up! You look fabulous! Green is so your color!
Rusty is a font of knowledge, isn't she? She and I were cast togehter in the very first vintage thing I ever did, a fashion show called "Hollywood Party", about a million years ago.
Glad to see her spreading the gospel of hair about...
