The wallet photograph on my desk is of my late grandfather (1907-1983). Taken probably ca. 1950.

I figured I would post this one here, since it has a really vintage feel to it (in my opinion).

Same location as above, taken from my bedroom window. I have a lot to try to photograph, ranging from the various planes taking off from the airport, to the street down below.

I've not seen this thread before; will need to go back and check out everyone's photos when I have more time. In the meanwhile, here's one I recently took of a bee foraging at our bird feeder last week. It has been cropped:

How perfect is that? Great shot and a great view. A vintage-like European feel.

I was up on the top of a parking deck and saw this spot of yellow amongst the dull surroundings of a back alley.

Quigley Brown - stunning composition, great use of colour. I love it!

    Here's a couple of mine.

First, the Murray Porter Band playing a storming blues set in Vancouver’s historic Chinatown.

Murray (seated) is one of the leading lights of the Res Bluez’ – First Nations blues – movement, seen here playing a street party to officially open Vancouver Native Housing’s Skwachàys Healing Lodge.

And here's Vancouver in the early morning. Yes, it's raining again!
