[Two Types]

Very interesting.
I've seen many American ties with 'foreign' or 'exotic' themes, so I suppose it's reasonable to expect that would work both ways.

50s?

I believe this is from the 1950s but it isn't easy to be certain since they did make boys ties earlier than the fifties.

I found these on a recent trip to Scotland:

Bartex wrinkle proof wool and what appears to be an early Klipper:

Munrospun and 'Gala Weave' by Linosair:

no label. This has a nice pinkish hue that works very well with dark shirt:

Just goes to show that they can make a decent tie if they try. Must have been from the Tasmanian factory.
