A Regal Cravat, first sold at Smith-Bridgman's, Flint, MI. A very good example of paint and coralite (grounded sand) being used on a tie (although most of the glitter has fallen off); feels like acetate.

I find that I'm oddly attracted to ties with a certain sort of geometric pattern - even though I couldn't imagine me wearing them. Maybe it's some kind of..what you call this? Displacement activity? Perhaps I'm so fascinated with them exactly because they look so odd to me.
