I like 30s wide leg trousers, but for a larger frame, I find they are a bit too diaper like, especially if your thighs touch. I find 40s trousers cut a bit leaner, but still have a great drape.

This is the first new one I've bought in a long time. I love the interesting shaped waist, and the jacket with the short sleeves and waist length.

I just picked up some medium/heavy black wool flannel, too, so I think I'll use that for my first version of this. It's such easy stuff to work with!

That is so interesting. Ive never seen a bracelet length jacket worn with a long sleeved blouse like that. I'm-a have to try that!

Ive seen a lot of hand holding, and even ladies flipping up the hem on specific pattern covers. Gals were so much more friendly back then

I've been waiting for this one for a long time. I first saw it on a retail site in a 38 for a very high price and by the time I made up my mind, it was gone. It's been on eBay alot, but always in a 30. This one is still small, but it's much easier to grade than a 30.
