These are some of hat ads I found in my old Magazines collection, most of them are from Mexico, originally was owned by my grandfather he start collecting this from 1928 to the 70's.

Hope you enjoy them, I'll post more as soon as possible.


This is from a 1900 Sears catalog, you can see a Nutria felt hat at the left and a J.B. Stetson nutria felt hat at the center.

claro que me encantan

It's interesting to note how crude the drawings are
in the Sears catalog. Those hats were works of true
craftsmen (if you will), but the pictures, to the modern
eye, would make you think it was a fly-by-night operation.

I think in those days people put the effort into the item
itself, while today we put the effort into selling the item.
