Leather is Horween Essex which comes to Dave as dark brown and then he dyes it black and applies a sturdy top coat. Zippers and snaps are NOS. Has the steerhide Buco label. He used his stock 44 (revised) pattern and added sleeve length. The Essex leather is 3 oz, and is very comfortable immediately. Sleeve zipper tape is brown. I did take some isopropyl alcohol to the jacket to try to take down the shine but it didn't have much of an affect. I have pasted the original thread below. I probably wore this jacket 4-5 times, never on the bike or in the rain. Still in like-new condition. $400 shipped to U.S., upcharge anywhere else to cover my cost.

    Pit to Pit - 23”
    Shoulders - 19”
High waist - 20.25” (think bottom of rib-cage area)
    Bottom opening - 21”
    Sleeves - 27”

This is a spectacular deal on an amazing jacket and I can testify first hand that the seller is as good as it gets. A true best in class experience from my perspective.

I concur with what @ton312 just said. My personal experience is that @pawineguy is a good guy, a man of his word, and can be trusted.

Yes, I'll still have plenty of jackets to keep me happy. Just clearing out the ones that never get worn. My Premier Highwayman in seal Vincenza remains my favorite and has crowded out a few others.
