The Ellum appears to be a rebadged Stratoliner in beaver. I'm digging the finish (at least what's shown in the pics).
Brim-width-wise it's more like the Open Road, and the brim doesn't have the deep rolled flange, that defines the Stratoliner. We can't really be sure of the beaver content, but they do state it's a blend :)

The only lid I don't have in my rotation is black, and I'm partial to vintage ORs/Strats, so...I'm considering the black Ellum. Hell, they accept returns if it ends up a bust.

For what it's worth, the flatter brim that TheDane points out is actually a plus for me — it helps to make a Strat's crown appear taller than it actually is. I have a pair of Premier Strats that both have flattened brims and only a slight curl for this very reason. It's my Campdraft's fault that I'm hooked on height.

Modern Premier Strats feature zero beaver content and cost an extra $25 MSRP anyways, correct?
