Synthetic Tie Water Stains?

Many fellow Loungers won't have this problem, but I ask those of you who wear both modern and vintage neckties of the following synthetic materials if they can stain with water. If so, how can the water stain/spot be removed?

-Dacron (an early form of polyester I think, around in the 1950s and 1960s)
-Polyester
-Nylon
-Acetate
-Rayon
-Acrylic

Thanks, and don't worry, I do wear vintage silks, wools, and cottons,

I also wear vintage ties made of synthetic materials, as in the ones you've listed. I think I have them made of all the materials except acrylic. Now I'm wondering how such stains would be removed most efficiently. Two that come to mind are a 1960s polyester tie that has a slight stain in the middle, as well as an earlier silk tie with somewhat of a stain near the tip. Thankfully, they are effectively unnoticeable to others.
