30 caps

I was moving some of my clothing to a spare bedroom and decided to take a picture of my flat caps, newsies, and 8 panels. I figured you guys would enjoy them.

Nice collection, RD. A different cap for each day of the month.

I have a question for you or anyone here because they all look so similar to me: What are the differences among an ivy, driver, and longshoreman?

Well, to give me a little more variety, to cooperate better with bicycle riding, and to give an alternative to when the new Indiana Jones movie comes out and everybody starts calling my Campdraft an "Indy hat," I ordered three B!Wear caps today. A Charcoal Gray wool, a Brown Herringbone wool, and a Tan linen.

Can't wait to join the faction. :)

That's quite a collection.

I'd like to post some of my pics. How many posts does one need before the option to place a pic in a post becomes available?

You should be able to do it now. you need a service like photobucket or one of the others. they are free and enable you to post.:)

I have a photo hosted at photobucket. I try to post the picture, but it keeps showing up in the post as a link. What am I doing wrong?

New Borsalino Cap

Hey folks,
I posted this one in the "new Hat" thread as well, but wanted to get some feedback here as well. I'm hoping this Borsalino cap looks right on me. I've been told that tan colored caps don't look right on me as I'm blond haired and blue eyed. I'm wearing a light shirt in the picture, so maybe that makes it work. Also, I'm not sure if the cap is a tad too small, as the cap comes up a bit at the front. Just hoping to get others' opinions. Thanks!

All you need to do is click the little "photo" icon in the toolbar above where you type your message (it says "insert Image" when you scroll over it), then paste the URL (direct link) of your image on photobucket. That should work.

Another New Cap...

Here's a NY Hat Co. Navy blue linen cap. It's a bit hard to see the actual color, as it is really a tiny bit lighter than the picture shows. I really like the style of this 8-panel.

How's the weight and warmth of the linen versus a wool?

The linen is most definitely lighter than a wool cap. Of the two I posted just above, the navy blue cap is the lightest, and does not have a liner of any sort. It's probably too early to tell about the warmth; not quite the midst of summer. I'll try to remember to update in June.:D

Just got this one due to a tip from DeanGlen, thanks Dean.
Although I seldom wear caps I will try and post a photo soon.

That code won't work due to the = signs, etc. in it. There is an option at Photobucket labeled:

IMG Code - Forums & Bulletin Boards

All you have to do is highlight, copy and paste the code in the box below that directly into your post here (no need to even use the IMG tag button) and you'll get:
