what hat is this?

i recall seeing him wearing ones with the brim upcurves a bit higher and the top was a bit lower, with more of a consistant dimple through the center, but the same general hat design. being i only wear boaters and newsboys, im clueless lol

Frankly, the manufacture on that hat could've been any of the classic hat makers. Looks to be a standard fur felt fedora without its raw-edged brim snapped down.
