Am I the only one who has noticed the latest pompadour trend?
Here is what I mean. Axe pomade?

When I think pomade, I think 'goop.' I've only tried Axe's 'messy,' but for its part it certainly isn't goopy. More like a putty.

Someone recommended it to me, but I really don't find it all that satisfactory. The hold is pretty weak. SOMETIMES it does what I want - if my hair is just damp enough, the sun hasn't quite broken the horizon, and the birds are chirping in the key of e-flat. A good wind, a light sweat, or the passing of the hours is generally enough for it to lose all of it's influence over my hair.

As a disclaimer though, I can't pull off a pompadour - of the rockabilly persuasion atleast - at all, so someone who can may have a more authorotative ruling on this than I do.

More of a novel than I had intended, but those are my two cents in.
