The Stetson St. Regis homburg - what can you tell me?

Not nearly as "De Luxe" as @MikeinRome 's outstanding contribution (wow!), but it's what I have in hand. Close to the same age.

Royal Stetson St Regis hats probably came before the DeLuxe versions. There are couple Royal St Regis hats with Vitafelt stamps and there are the advertisements.

The Royal Stetson DeLuxe had only a couple of years in production, maybe ‘46-48. At some point in there the word order changed to Royal DeLuxe Stetson.

Late 1940's Stetson St Regis. I think this is one of the early hats with the St Regis name because St Regis is stamped separately in the front of the sweatband instead of with the rest of the Stetson name and logo.

Appreciate that additional info.

(In a later post, Just Daniel estimates ca 1946-48 for these Royal Stetson Deluxe named hats.)
Randall Renshaw has a St Regis virtually identical to my brown and red Homburg shown. The only apparent difference is that Randall's has the words VitaFelt Process added to the sweatband next to the Stetson logo. Here are 2 pics he sent me of his hat.

A fantastic looking hat.

@belfastboy if you are up for building a homburg, this is the one to clone for me!

In the FEPSA beaver I have a few nice dark browns and then a burgundy ribbon with brown undertones that might look stunning. The picture I posted in the past few days in my Wolfbrae thread is as close I am getting to a Homburg with my curling shackle. I have wider brim ribbon on the burgundy to use. Is the one in my pictures close to what you want?

I think this might be a mid-1950s or 1960s hat, but not sure how to date it. The logo is a mash-up of the Stetson factory store and Royal DeLuxe. I did not find a factory sticker behind the sweat band.

I think mid to late 1950s. It’s amazing how the St. Regis has changed subtly in shape and proportions over the years.

I have a Stetson Store St Regis dated 1956 that looks a lot like yours but still has the 'Royal Deluxe" liner.....
Sometimes I see hats like this with later plain liners and wonder if they were replacements for liners that got soiled or foxed from sitting around in stock........I know they did stop using them on the RD's in the late 50's and went to the plain roundels but your looks earlier than that......
