Over the past couple of years Ive found several pieces of Stetson Logo'd silverplate or nickle silver plates, bowls and such. Last week I won a goodwill auction for a Stetson table centerpiece plate. I figured it was a decent sized candy dish. A BIG box arrived today and this thing is pretty large indeed. Fills the center of my big dining table ( see pic with Open Road for size comparison). Guess I need to go dig out the metal polish and get to cleaning. Ive definately got the only one of these in town lol

Dont have to worry about this Stetson getting stained or dirty. Not sure what time frame Stetson sold such things ( Im guessing pre-Hatco) but they sure had a big selection of silver colored decorative metal for sale back in the day. Im sitting on quite a pile. If anyone knows about these things Im all ears

This seems a good thread to post a question. Is there a reputable outlet for some of the original prints or quality reprints seen in this thread? I can get plenty of the cheap copies on Ebay but I'm wanting a better quality display print.

Correcting my post to the correct Stetson Way area.....I found another early ww2 Stetson Stratoliner ad Id never seen before. (Ive got 6 different Stetson Stratoliner ads from 1939-1941) really nice condition. Got the mat trimmed, mounted in a frame, and frame is on the wall with the other Stetson ads.

Its not vintage, but I did pickup a nice Stetson ceramic mug. Should be good for the morning Kentucky/ Tennessee coffee. Once warm weather finally decides to return, it should be good for cold beer or tropical drinks too. All the paper stickers are still on it so its unused and I WONT have to disinfect and scrub anyones lipstick off! lol

Well, you may wish to wash it anyway....you never know, they could all use it as a spittoon (or worst) before it leaves the factory!

That certain eAuction site only has a couple listed at the moment, but you never know when the mood will strike people to clean out their cupboards and sell things they aren't using. Just a thought.
