Very beautiful cloth and style, Fastuni. Too bad it doesn't fit me!

Two beauties! Especially the HS&M. Also like the tie you chose.

No- pretty standard cut to the cutaway and normal length.

I'm less sure. Look at the height of the bottom button from the hem and pocket flaps. Could be stylistic, but it looks a little disproportionate to me.

I really like the shoulder expression on that Parkway clothes double breasted. I think that all the details of that coat, from shoulder to lapel to skirt are really well balanced. I'm not used to seeing you in jackets that aren't bum-freezers!

The Parkway must be one of my best-made American suits. Very nice details.

Coincidence, I guess. Lots of my SB three-piece are full length and about half of the DBs, too. Maybe I just didn't post those. The sportsjackets tend to be bum freezers.

    Aha!
So these two weren't both expressly tailor-made for you decades before your birth.
(The trousers of the blue one would look better a half of an inch longer.)

early 40s DB by Hart Schaffner & Marx
Hard-finished worsted, marine blue (a couple of shades lighter than navy) with wide-spaced cream pinstripe. The color pops in the sunlight much more than navy does.
