Hey all. I just wanted to post a pic of my new Webley MKVI alongside my long late great-grandfather's WWI Colt New Victory .38 revolver he was issued as a biplane pilot during the Great War.

Beautiful!

Do they both shoot? I know the Victory Mod. is a .38, Right? Easy to get ammo for that. What about the Webley? .455? I don't see that round much. Is it hard to come by where you are?

Well, the Webley sadly went through the .45 ACP conversion like so many did back in the late 1940s. I know that the Colt is in beautiful shape, having rarely been fired since my great grandfather's death, but the Webley needs some serious TLC.

Anyone know a good gunsmith for antique firearms?

Mike
