The Vintage half-belt is a tough item to find. It is easier to find an Aero 50s half-belt than an original. Then you have to find the correct size and deal with condition issues. This 50s Hercules is a nice larger size 46 in excellent condition. It has a decent lining with minimal wear at the hem and cuff ends. The Steerhide leather is strong in the upper arms and shoulders, a typically weak area in vintage leather. The original Conmar main zipper is well sewn and working. The Ideal chest zipper has it's original diamond pull. All pocket bags are intact. Both side buckles are present and functioning. All the original labels are present.
50s Steerhide is as tough as the Horsehide of this era. I've got plenty of both to compare. The Steerhide can age better than horsehide.
I'm in the video at 5'9" 190. I typically wear a size 44 and this one fits like a size 46 which it is. All the measurements are in this album.
Price: $315 including shipping to CONUS though USPS priority mail.
Thanks, Terry
