Vintage black Dunn & Company Homburg in excellent condition. The hat features a 2 1/4" curled brim with grosgrain edge and a 5" crown (5 3/4 open) which is wrapped in a 2" matching black grosgrain ribbon. Inside the oilskin liner protector shows some antiquing and has turned an amber color but is in good shape with no tears or holes. The wide 2" plus calf skin leather sweatband is still soft and pliable with solid stitching. The back sweatband seam is taped. There is no size tag to include any glued to the inside crown. The circumference around the sweatband is approx. 22 3/8" and the hat opening measures approx. 8" front to back and 6 3/4 side to side. I wear either a 7 1/8 or 7 1/4 depending on the hat and this fits me very nice like a large 7 1/8 or small 7 1/4. To me it fits more like a 7 1/4. Make sure you check your head measurement to ensure a good fit. I'm only selling it because I like Homburgs but they don't like me. $225.00 plus shipping.
