Vintage Wedding Hairstlyes

Hello, Everyone!
I'm planning a 1940s style wedding. It's going to be formal and military (my man is active service) so I am planning on wearing a gown similar to the one here but I need help with what to do with my hair. My hair is past my shoulders in length and naturally curly. Originally I was going to put it in a chignon with flowers pinned on one side but that may not be formal enough. What do you think?

I agree w/ Shooshoobaby1- if a chignon is your fancy, then do it! Most womens' regrets about their wedding day is that they let too many people tell them what to do and sort of lost themselves along the way. Just make sure that it's what YOU want! ;)
