Pretty good thrift shop day for me. Blue Browns Beach jacket.

Wow! Those have been going for around $600 in the past few months. Incredible find.

would it have a "Dry Clean Only" if it were vintage? It might be a repro... either way a great find

I don't think it's a repro, just a newer one. They kept making these at least until the late 60's.

    Definitely NOT a reproduction. It's a size 42.

Yup, it's from the 1950's.....I have plenty of gabardine shirts that say dry clean only on the tag.

Lee - not mine - I don't like most patches on these, but I dig this one.

Just for fun, I've taken to putting Buddy Lee dolls on my watch list. This one did OK.

That is insane! That's probably a pretty rare outfit Buddy is wearing, but still!
I own 2 Buddy Lees, one original in the classic red plaid shirt, blue jeans and denim work cap, and a repro wearing a Shell service station outfit. I'd love to add more to the collection, but not at these prices!

That's because that one is a 1940's or older one with a pretty unusual outfit. Most of the ones you see are from the 1950's and go for less than $200. That is a pretty high price, but in an auction it only takes two bidders to drive the price up that high.

Here's a look. This is from an architecture book on Adler and Sullivan I was doing research in.

    "Here's a look"

-That's what I'd call "extreme layering"-chambray(?) shirt, leather jacket, denim jacket! Must have been a damn cold day.
