Vntage Mallory Ten Wide Soft Brim Homburg Fedora Sz 7 1/2

Vintage black Mallory Ten Homburg fedora which features a wide 2 1/2" curled brim with grosgrain bound edge and a 5 3/4" open crown which is wrapped in a 1 3/4" matching black grosgrain ribbon with wind trolley. The satin liner is a little soiled but is in otherwise good shape. The leather sweatband is soft and pliable with minor wear. What I like about this Homburg is that the felt is soft and flexible like a regular vintage fedora and does not have the stiff brim or crown which is characteristic of most Homburgs. The brim can be bent down or up and it pops right back in place. For those looking for a wider brim in a Homburg this is the hat for you since most Homburgs have brims under 2 1/2". I'm pretty sure this is a pre-Stetson owned Mallory which would date it to the mid 40s or older. $200.00 plus shipping.

Thanks Alan. Just haven't come across that many soft brim Homburgs that are post 1940. I have a couple but they are from the 30s or older.
