  1. I agree with Bowen. That hat has reached perfection in the crease. Looks great on you.

Thanks, Cuz. Really enjoying your pics afield. Was wondering, the 'Needle Point' pic, is that from the Sipsey?

Thanks, Ken. Yes, with kangaroo tops.

Thanks, B. Yes, I went on a bit of a curl binge after I curled that Bailey.

Thank you, Bob. It's a favorite.

I've always liked that green Portis! It looks even better now! The boot stitching is fantastic!

Thanks Randy, I'm pretty fond of it. But as the hat gods would have it of course something very interesting came to pass right after it arrived..

I love a good green hat, and that's certainly one of them.

I finally had time to change up the shape on this sugar white Canadian Stetson. Boy I’m grateful for the lounge and the schooling I get here. My original thought of cutting this brim down would have been a travesty.

Thanks, J. Never was a fan of green until this one. It's amazing what other loungers will push one to do. What did you miss out on?

Such a good looking hat and great job on the crease. Been some good looking Canadians (hats) showing up recently. I know you're glad you didn't cut it down.

Didn't miss out, had another lounger do me a good turn. This is headed my way. Not a BRE but it's baby brother. Getting closer!

Thanks Greg, This one has a decent story too. Found it on a 'local' for sale site where my in-laws live in Nova Scotia. The mother in law brokered the deal for me, and in good maritimer fashion had a 3 hour visit over coffee and snacks with the complete strangers who sold it to me.

That's a great one. Good get. That looks like Vic's central unit.

Wow, very nice old-time 10 gallon looks on those hats today. You're going to force me to wear my Tom Horn inspired Beaver 100 tomorrow just so I can keep my membership in the club up to date!

    Another killer combination, Cuz!
I was at Rock City yesterday, if you hadn't already figured it from my other posts.

Thank, Cuz. Looks like a fun weekend.

All thanks to you. I like it too and am glad it's now cool enough to wear.

    Thanks, Jack. Inspired by yours.

  19. I call it: "what I like to do to my rancher/cattleman crease hats to soften THAT crease when I do not have enough crown to do much else" crease....;)
I do that "reverse center thumb dent" on those......which is what I call it anyway.....I have three or four like that...

  20. BB, is that 3-1/8 or 3-1/4, or more?
