    Looks sharp Luftwaffles!

Cool pic Dinerman! Is that Golden Era Fan with you? He has been conspicuously absent of late.

I'm in Greensboro, NC the first part of this week attending the Annual Meeting of the North Carolina Association of Soil and Water Conservation Districts. I haven't seen anyone else here wearing a fedora. Guess that makes me stand out (as if I didn't otherwise [huh] ).

Big Man - great look. Simple, elegant, spot on. A white shirt, blue suit and Churchill bow tie - they are all classics for a reason.

Flat fronted high rise sand coloured wool flannel trousers, white button down collar shirt with green tiger stripes, sage gray herringbone tweed 3 to roll sportcoat with brown horn buttons, bottle green knee high woolen socks, russet open laced cap toe shoes, brown and tan striped suspenders with brown leathers, a brown, pink, and rust paisley ancient madder tie, and an orange with wine striped pocket scarf and my usual white gold, silver, and platinum jewelry. Another boring day in Hemet, CA.....Waiting to get back to LA with my new position. I feel like a miniature of Moose Malone's Doppelganger from Farewell My Lovely......

Thinking of changing to a pink micro-gingham check semi spread collar and a green polka dot tie though......

I have a banquet to attend this evening and I'm wearing a pair of my Dad's old cufflinks from (at least) the 1950s.

    I like 'em, Big Man.
They remind me a little of an old Buick.

Going for a 1950s look with a vintage tie and clasp, a keychain, and a thin belt.

I won best dressed at my high school a few months back and wanted to share the photo, excuse the bad quality. I'm wearing a 1940's brown wool tie, a white cotton dress shirt, 1930's collar pin, modern red v-neck sweater, a 1945 Naval Cadet Blazer, red duck pattern socks, cordovan loafers, and grey pinstripe trousers. I thought it made for a nice fall outfit. Feedback appreciated. View attachment 22446

Never thought of that comparison to a Buick grill, but now that you mention it ...
