Good evening cap folks. Today I wore the cap showcased in my pics. This cap tugs on so easily. You know what I mean. The weight and the brim just have the cap tugging on effortlessly. The fabric weight is grand for our cool weather today.

I grabbed this wigens cap for my first outing since the 2nd cataract surgery.

It's been almost 40 years since I left the house without glasses.

You might want to think about getting yourself some non-prescription sunglasses. Maybe polarized, or some with at least a UV filter on the lenses to protect your eyes. Oh, and GREAT cap!

How did it handle the rain?

Did you have to reshape it after it dried??

It’s fine actually! I did shape it a little before I set it aside to dry just make sure no ugly wrinkles worked themselves in, but apart from that I just let dry somewhere cool and this morning it was good to go.

As an aside, my digging into Thomas Farthing indicates that City Sport sews their caps in Belgium.

That’s interesting to know, thank you! I knew they were made in Belgium but not who made them. One thing they’ve certainly done well is sourcing some nice fabrics.

Thanksgiving morning hike in a Sterkowski Malone cap.

Picked this one up on a whim recently. Very basic knit watchcap of a type that's been around forever. Perfect for wearing round the house these colder days when I'm a bit too 'workwear' for the smoking cap.
