Ramon Allones Macedonian regional edition for Greece and Cyprus. 52x5.3" special release size robusto. It was bought by an acquaintance at Abu Dhabi airport. Supposedly with all the problems in Greece the cigars were not selling and Habanos shipped a whole lot to UAE. Very nice cigar.
They can send all they can't get rid of to me.![]()
I would be in line too.
I smoked another regional cigar this time a Bolivar from UAE. It was the size of Siglo VI but sadly it was plugged. I remember your dremmel experience with Siglo VI and this time your dremmel would be useful.
I thought that 65% was the British thing to reduce the excise taxes on tobacco imports. To me 70% was always the norm. The Siglo VI has those problems. If you do not keep them more humidified than normal they close up. You have to keep those at 70% humidity instead of the regular 65%. You don't have to use a Dremel, any cordless drill with a 3/16ths inch bit will do.![]()
John Lofgren Monkey Boots Shinki Horsebuttt - $1,136 The classic monkey boot silhouette in an incredibly rich Shinki russet horse leather.
Grant Stone Diesel Boot Dark Olive Chromexcel - $395 Goodyear welted, Horween Chromexcel, classic good looks.
Schott 568 Vandals Jacket - $1,250 The classic Perfecto motorcycle jacket, in a very special limited-edition Schott double rider style. I thought that 65% was the British thing to reduce the excise taxes on tobacco imports. To me 70% was always the norm.
I got it as a gift and smoked it the next day, the other cigar that came with it was fine. I suspect it was the construction issue. How long did you keep them in the humidor like that before you smoked them? It should have helped it.
Some people like their cigars a bit drier I guess.![]()
