This morning... cold rain mixed with sleet.

Wearing the 1946 Vita-Felt Stetsonian. My dad was born in '46, too. So it is appropriate that I wear the Sanyo trenchcoat that he was kind enough to cast off onto me. It's also appropriate that the liner was sewed back into the hat a little wonky. Dad's a little eccentric.

I wonder if I can figure out a way to get caffeine into my blood stream intravenously... Ugh.

As we start the final week before the big holiday, here's a great little tune to help get us into the spirit from one of the greatest artists of our time (and I assure you, that I am being completely serious in making that statement).

HAPPY MONDAY!

Thanks mmb!
You really should give a try at making a hat. At the very least it will give you a greater apprecuation of your professionally made ones, and you would be surprised at how proud of yourself you'll be at your first attempt that actually looks like a hat...:)
Thanks for the encouragement, Moe. Just how many attempts did you make before you first made one that looked like a hat?

Matt, as nice a hat as The Polar is, please pack it away so the weather can get back to normal. I don't particularly like 15F in Fort Worth.

In any event I was able to get to the office through the frozen tundra, with my Open Road 7XCB.

Looks like great minds are thinking alike this morning, Harv!

Kuki – It’s funny. My father’s nickname is Cu’qui, I believe it would be pronounced the same. Accent on the first syllable? Anyway, great lines on the hat!

Danielle – Bellisimo. Impressive indeed. Buon Natale.

hatsRme – Love the ribbon color on that one. Looking good. Enjoy the holidays!

1Mach – Classic beauty.

MM – Love those Vita-Felts. Looking sharp, if not quite awake, this morning.

DJH – The twin classics. Always a winner.

For me, my brand spankin’ new Gannon (got it yesterday). Bone, 5 ¾ inch crown, 2 5/8 inch brim. Diggin’ it.

Fantastic.
Love the photo composition, too.

As for the weather... I am sorry. When I get home tonight I will promptly burn THE POLAR.

Thanks Bruno.

Another gorgeous Gannon creation. And it looks totally boss on you.
