That's... uh... weird.
Well done, Jim!Thanks, Bowen.

But where the heck is a "hyperion" on the keyboard? Your's truly, the idiot, has searched throughout the internets trying to figure that out. Is it an Oracle thing? Beautiful hat Jeff. Up there at the top of the pile of your hat's that I wish were mine.Wow!

Another killer. That's an unBEElievable hat. Understatement of the day.

Thanks Matt! Btw, I think you were asking about my straw bowler yesterday— probably thinking of the taller one made by Texas Hatters, but i do have a smaller Bailey. At one time I had a sunbody derby. It was cool but unfortunately bulky and heavy.

I grabbed my Lee Silver label dusty Sage homburg on the way out the door this morning, not wearing a suit. [emoji4]

Out for some final theater errands before dress rehearsal tonight. Good old cheap Dobbs two tone. Post 1972 registered trade mark, probably some type of poly materials, definitely not real Milan, but a good serviceable hat. Wonky brim will not respond to steam, water or anything less than a flame thrower, I guess I'll live with it.

Wasn’t planning on posting today but was sitting on the porch swatting bees and scaring my German Shepherd. You’d think i was shootin at her. Anyway, 87 degrees so i got my summer bee hat on.
Of all my hats, if i could say “thats me”, i think it’s this one.
Stetson Nutria with it’s own “rowboat” crease.
Wish i could get me some more of these.
Anybody got an Epi Pen? Ha

Sure, I’m a 7 3/8.

I do like the look of a homburg!

I recall looking at pics of Gutzon Borglum, sculptor of Mt. Rushmore, and he wore some great hats from homburgs to an OR

For me, Homburgs inspire images of David Suchet. They are interesting hats and I’m all for adding them to one’s rotation. I asked your size because I have an old Dobbs homburg that needs a good home but it’s too small for you.

Have you spent some time at the Homburg Nation thread? Good reading and some hats to die for.

Thanks for the consideration! I’ve not made it to the homburg thread but will do so now! :)

My new Cobalt Blue Optimo Park Avenue arrived today.
The cost of shipping is less than what I would have paid if I had bought it in Chicago, because of the infamous city taxes. It took 48 hours to get from Chicago to my home in Mexico City.
This time, Tiffani sent it with a pretty feather.

About three weeks ago, towards the beginning of my Class A driving school, I received this Mallory Twenty. Today I passed my CDL driver’s test while wearing this hat.

Actually, I’ve worn this guy out driving almost every single day since I’ve had it. It was a tough school for me but he helped make it a pleasure. I’m definitely on the lookout for more Mallory Dallases.

In the meantime, though, Mr. Mallory and I are going to be starting on the road in a few weeks’ time, trucking our way across North America. Maybe we’ll see you all out there!

Cheers,
Nathan

Oh my! That is a gorgeous hat. I think even Alan is a little envious. I don’t know what kind of a sponsor you are waving that hat under my nose. :)

Wow! The color saturation and the fineness of the pouncing is exceptional! Such attention to detail. Another home run for Optimo.

What do you think of the feather? Leave it on, or take it off? I think it looks a little out of place, even if it is beautiful.

Super congrats on passing your test and your new career. Keep us posted. I’d name that hat Lucky Dallas.
Be well and safe. Bowen
