Borsalino unlined Impermeabile for a rainy Texas day. Got this one from Stefan @steur a few months ago

Here's a Bradford Ltd OR clone that I was able to save from the trash can and give new life to. I really messed this one up a few years ago and I stripped it down for its ribbon and bow and brim binding for another project. I was going to throw the hat away but decided rather to see if I could save it and make it wearable again. It's a favorite! I'm glad I was able to save it. I have more in the conversion corral...

Gene Vincent with vintage Bettie Page:

Those older Bradford’s are really fine hats. I have one that I think is from the 50s and the felt is as nice or better than my 3X Stetsons

Great hat to lounge around in. Love that cap.
Thanks Red. Had fun lounging and watching the movie. That cap has been my current favorite bicycling cap when it's cool enough for a wool cap.

I can say one thing about that Borsalino: we don't see it enough! That's a great hat, Michael. Have we seen that one up close and personal in the Borsalino Brotherhood?
Thanks Stefan. I think I posted about it there, but it was a year or two ago.

Thanks all,
Michael

Another lovely morning. Dobbs Hanover Square pairs up with some tweed for morning coffee

After a summer made blissful by their absence, the mosquito has, sadly, finally put in an appearance. Rather annoying.

Love this Dobbs. It is always a treat to see it. Our bug problem this year are yellow jackets and wasps, they are unusually aggressive as the summer is waning.

Love the steel with that contrasting blue Rodolfo. Another one of my favorite Gannons. Great pups too!

Seventeen years? Hard to believe it's been 17 years...

Recent Excellent Stratoliner.

Sent directly from my mind to yours.
I always think back to when I heard, working at a machine shop in Albany. Imprinted memories. I like the center dent in that Strat.

Meeting with my US accountant in downtown Mexico City today. I have to do two tax returns every year, one for the US, and one for Mexico. Small price to pay for dual citizenship, but a hassle nonetheless.
Wore my new Krofut & Knapp stingy today. Look, @steur, this is a real stingy.

Great look Max. I like the C&K logo in the liner on this one. Taxes are a bitch, I feel for you. Of course, my wife is an accountant, so I'm not allowed to deal with any of this, a blessing. I figure if I bring home a receipt, I can spend all the money I want to.:D
