Thanks alanfgag and short balding. To your question, SBG, I don't have that problem. I'm fine with the brim as it behaves. Yes, it's very soft and thin and easy to bend. But the brim holds it's form as designed. Maybe something else is going on with yours. Or maybe you are trying to work against the hat. I'm not sure.

I don't have a problem with mine either. As Zetwal said, it is indeed soft and thin but it holds.

Sounds good, short balding. I just had a couple additional thoughts. If you are a long oval or extra long oval (and the hat is not) elongating the hat to fit your skull could pull the brim down in the front. This effect could be exaggerated with a very thin and pliable hat. If it's just a question of the brim being too floppy for your taste maybe you could apply a little stiffener to the brim. I myself have never needed or used such a product. But I do know that some others around here have done this sort of thing (presumably even with good results). You can do search for threads on that topic and see what you find.

Barbisio Titan Qualita Superlativa

A superlativa morning... the backyard is in bloom and nothing is overgrown... yet.

wisteria above, weeping hemlock below.

I always wanted to build a house. I think the playhouse is as close as I will get. Two levels, all made from clear western red cedar. It smells really nice inside.

Need a head shot, I know. In my attempt to not ignore the "stingiest" brim I have, I've been getting a lot of wear out of this Churchill with the cavanagh-esque edge.

This brim is 2" and may be a bit smaller than I like, but it has successfully made me realize I don't mind brims smaller than 2.5" (which is all I wore before about six months ago). Still don't think I'm a stingy wearer, but I can dip below 2.5 now thanks to this hat.
