WHAT a weekend of lids!
We just received notice that DSL will be available soon at our cabin in the woods. Finally! Internet access like the modern world, but I like the disconnect to some degree, and I don't always mind parking outside of public buildings for the access. Progress?!

I'll be replacing my camera (I don't have a cell camera yet; waiting for them to really catch on...) as my current Canon s110 didn't seem to like the bath I gave it in the pond yesterday. Consarn, and Dagnabbit! I have to buy another camera. Suggestions?

is there something specific you do to your brims to keep them so slick ?

I have a couple of flanges that I use to tweak things a little bit. I really haven't done much to this one other than shape it by hand. The felt is very thin but takes a shape really well. These '40s-'50s Borsalinos are amazing hats.



Everyone has absolutely nailed it today.

Yeah, I'm smiling in this picture. My grandson was making me laugh and my daughter snapped the picture before I could stop smiling. Won't happen again, though. I'll be more prepared next time.
