+1 on the OR. When I first looked at pics of one, it didn't really do all that much for me. Wasn't a big fan of the thin ribbon. Once I handled one (late 60's) and put it on, I knew I was hooked. My next original is heavily inspired by the OR style. Hopefully it will be done sooner than later...gotta work on my brim binding skills.

Nice set of photos Joao, I really like the EC, that's what you call a hat !!!
One thing though, on the 5th photo down we can see a couple of hats in the background that appear to have relatively narrow brims.............. you hiding something from us Joao ??? :D

Thank you :)
No, no narrow brims there. That is a Stagecoach with 4" brim.
Narrower brim here is 3" and I almost don't wear it.

Good morning all! Yesterday's display of hats was, as usual, amazing. Seems it was Open Road day for about half. Gotta get my hands on a vintage one. The dimensions on those, and the look, are ideal for a thin ribbon hat. Keeping my eye peeled on the Bay and the vintage shops, for sure.

Still cool in Dayton, as it should be all week. Lots of sun, though, but it's getting easier to pull out a felt and leave the few straws I have hanging. Today, one of my favs, the D'Aquino Mk II.

Welcome back, Greg. Super return!!

Work and time away has taken much of my Lounge comment time, but you have all maintained a spectacular presence here. Summertime can be very distracting, if done right!

So, to all of you keeping the home fires aglow, thank you! I went back about ten or so pages to look, take attendance, and count... In no particular order, except "ladies first,"

I also wish for an annual (or random) return of all former posters who once enjoyed a regular presence. Just a few names quickly come to mind, like RLK, or Randall, etc., and there are many more hiding some breathtaking examples of hat history and craft. You know who you are!!

It is too hot in Italy in the past two months to have time and want to take photos.....

The panama is from PHD and it is my best hat for these occasions.
Gualtieri (Reggio Emilia) has one of the best square in the North Italy

I wore A LOT of hats today.
Trying to get some nice pictures with a friend who enjoys some photography.

You've seen them before, I think.

That first hat is perfect on you...style and color. Nice! Just curious, do you know if your friend was using a Lensbaby for the blur or is it more of a Photoshop thing?

Since HatsRme has done all the work of compiling the complements and kudos, I'll just add my +1 to his post!

Working the Premiere Stratoliner today. It's another "goes with everything" kind of hat.

Wow. This is an exceptional page (well, the one before and ending with this post)!

Strapped, that Saxon works hard for you.

Fruno, I dig the contrasting binding and band—it's a good mix.

TPD, sweet Optimo. One of these days...

Greg, that lid is now one of my favorites. The best looking cap I've seen. Really nice.

Daniel, you should be in movies, that PHD looks perfect on you.

Esther, you just made my day. You look great in all the hats and photos. I like the last one best.

Java, the bash on the Strato is very clean. I like it a lot. A Stratoliner suits you just fine.

Bob, your taste and mine coincide far too frequently. Every hat I like—you own. Dang. And you wear them much better than I do.

Again, what a page of folks and hats!
