Super thick hide for goat, really made me want to find more old Swedish jackets...
Looks fantastic. The leather on mine is also quite substantial. Too bad it's usually our mad friend who usually stocks them :D Though mine was bought from him :D

Thanks.

Pros: I'm much, much lighter on my feet. I can go up multiple flights of stairs 2 at a time without running out of breath which I couldn't do before. I'm able to bend and lift things in ways that I couldn't before. I don't feel the blood rush to my head when tying my shoes.

Cons = I get cold a lot easier so I'm wearing more layers than I used to need. All of my old clothes are either too big or have to be worn in an oversized way. Moving heavy things is harder. There's some real benefit to having some weight to throw around when you're trying to move a piano or hold up a heavy motorcycle that's starting to tip.

All in all I'm very happy to not be carrying all the extra weight everywhere.
Wow, any weight loss tip?

Eat less. I started with intermittent fasting (basically only eating during an 8 hour window each day) and then switched to just being more careful what I eat. I've cut out breakfast cereal, limit desserts heavily and cut way down on alcohol. On top of that I eat smaller portions of everything I do eat and try to choose healthier options when eating out. I've also accepted that throwing away a bit of food is better than eating it when I don't need it. If I'm full and there's still a bit on the plate I toss it or save for a later meal rather than eating it because it's there. I still eat pretty much anything. I just do so carefully and limit the amount I eat to what I really need.

I've tried to be a bit more active as well but the reality is that food consumption is where you can affect weight. Exercise is great for health but as the old adage goes "you can't outrun a bad diet".
