I have one more in the chamber from your image bank. You know the one. This was a tester to see if he could put it together.

Over the last few months I have been making retirement adjustments unloading jackets, shoes etc. I wanted to get down to 3 major jackets and was close; then Aero Fan_7 put up the exact J-23 in the correct size. It came in a couple of weeks ago and I have to say it really is perfect for my needs. I have worn it riding a couple of times now and while it probably will not be my go to jacket for the bike it will be my everyday jacket. The wife made these photos right after I purchased it and the fit is pretty dog gone good. Of course more walking is necessary to get my weight down but not nearly as much as it would be at a size 44.

Thanks! It does fit me very well... possibly the best of my leather jackets now.

@Carlos840 that 42L looks better to me, but the 44 doesn't look massive either. Cool jacket.

It is Aero 1950 half belt with august collar, leather is Horween CXL steerhide in Cordovan color.

Do you have a preference between steer and horse? I’m always looking for horsehide because it seems too hard to wade through all the lower quality cow hide and I like heavy leather. Is the steer as heavy as the horse?

I don't have preference, yes, the steerhide is little heavier.
