I am a little unsure of what to wear this weekend, we are going to a Tea Rooms Friday afternoon. the Tea Room has a 1930s theme, and the proprietors were the costume designer/advisor for Poirot/Jeeves and Wooster etc.
So, we are going for Afternoon Tea, which includes sandwiches and cakes. The Tea Room is in the country side, so I was thinking a brown suit, or do I wear flannels and a sports jacket perhaps, or is this a little casual for afternoon tea.
My main thoughts were these two 'three' piece suits, but perhaps a tweed plus fours suit?
or
with a cream silk shirt perhaps?
