I made the mistake of watching a movie which I initially believed was going to be good. However it wasn't. Red, White and Blue (dir. Simon Rumley) was the name and I found it pretty awful. Has anyone else had the misfortune of seeing this flick?

In Our Time Ida Lupino and Paul Henreid. Made during the war.... but good stuff. Funny they didn't mention the Russian invasion of Poland as well as the German. But they were allies then.

Trying to watch "Mulholland Falls." It's been many years since I last saw it. Wasn't much of a fan then and feeling the same way now although the cars sure are purty.

If you're not impressed with Mulholland Falls, don't bother with Gangster Squad. It wasn't the worst movie I've seen, but there was nothing in it I hadn't seen before.

I liked the Gangster Squad well enough, but that might have been a result of seeing it in a theater. Mulholland just didn't flow enough for me. I liked much of the cast, but the movie was too flat.
