My neighbors are barbecuing/torturing me. Dinner cannot come soon enough. Time for another Salty Scot.
Black eyed peas with bacon and macaroni and cheese.
All of that together in one bowl?! :eeek:
I ended up with a huge plate of steamed broccoli with butter and salt and fishless filets with homemade tartar, plus sweet tea. I think dessert will be a mug cake with homemade frosting. Call me Betty Crocker.
Well......it all ends up together in one stomach. [emoji14]
Yeah but it just isn't the same.
Steak fajitas tonight on the grill. With beer of course. Tonights selection will be Sierra Nevada Golden IPA.
Grilled prawns (quick marinade in garlic/olive oil/lemon juice/parsley/S&P), rice pilaf, steamed broccoli.
Beer battered chicken sandwiches with steamed broccoli.
I see a trend with the broccoli.

It worked out well. So did the beer, since I had 5 of them. :doh:

Oh, and Angry Orchard as well.
So you just drank beer then.
I see it more as an appetizer.
