Whitefeather D1

This is my new D1 from whitefeather Vienna. We called in to the shop and I bought 2 jackets this D1 and a jacket inspired by General Truscott's jacket.
This one is made from very light sheepskin with 6 mm fleece. The outer is dark brown similar in colour to Eastman 50 cal. with beige wool. Some of the seams are open as on originals and there is even a small patch on the back. It's a bit of a sample / prototype but I love it. So light and comfortable to wear. Earlier in the day I had been wearing my LW Anj4 the contrast was very welcome.
Fardin doesn't have much of a website but he always answers e mails promptly and gives very good service.

Great looking jacket. I'm a convert to the D-1.

Are those pockets higher than normal, or am I just mis remembering? Looks like a nie jacket.
