Anybody like White's Boots?
If you have a pair post them in here!
Saw their line-up at Inspiration.
There is a couple of threads in the General Attire section.
The semi-dress boots weigh almost twice as much as my Wolverine 1000mi.
These are my White's /Hawthorn Packers, I tried to include ankle to heel shape, the fit is great. I can only seem to get it to load in black and white, I'll have to get one of my kids to help with that.
My Nomads in natural CXL.
My 4 year old White's Semi-dress in black horsehide. Resoled by Role Club with storm welt.
And a couple of more...
White's Farmer Rancher Boots in distressed leather
White's Hathorn Open Road Engineer Boots
Just getting these Otto White Vintage Line boots broken in, made with brown Horween leather, really love the fit, arch support, and details on these:
Then as a bonus round, here is another manufacturer from the same town of Spokane, WA Nick's boots, these are packers bought off this forum about a year back:
No other White's boots folks on here? (There's a really extensive Work Boots thread in General Attire section...)
I have a few pairs of White's. I'll try to post a few pics later.
Nomads, Distressed Smooth, double mid sole and Semi Smoke Jumper, Distressed Rough-out.
I like both a lot, but I'm a bit disappointed with the build quality of the Nomads.
What is it that disappoints you about the Nomads?
The stitching on the half sole doesn't extend far enough, causing the rubber to flap.
I see what you mean. I have a very similar pair of Nomads that I got about six months ago now (pictured above in this thread). The rubber on mine is still nice and tight, but I see what you are talking about and I hope it doesn't happen to mine...
Thanks for the clarification.
Does white's still have horsehide? what is the exact name of that leather?
Hey Mark, I think you have to order/request that directly. I'd give them a call about it.
