1939 Aston Martin Type C Speed Model

I would love to have one of these, but only five are known to exist.

Ha,ha, I sure should have written "i want a house" instead of the morgage.
But if you ask me, yes, i cant wait to get into the property ladder as i am sooooo fed up of helping others to pay their own morgage renting all the time!
Still, i think i should add to that wish list a job with a good pay:p

Chris, I wish you had that Aston! It's a beauty but, alas, I'd never fit comfortably. [huh]

HPG, My dad had a '57 Roadmaster just like that one... in two-tone green as I remember. I used to lay in the front seat and listen to the radio when I was supposed to be cleaning the car.

Previous to this week I had only one wish - a new bathroom, and now it's happening! A new list will distract me from the fact that my house is being gutted and the only toilet is being removed for who knows how long.

Realistic list - active searches:
more tiki mugs
blowfish lamp
irobot scooba floor cleaner even though it probably doesn't work
vintage playing cards
new pennyloafers
more sweaters
home bar
kitten

Out there - waiting for a big win:
Pismo Beach house
cabin in the woods
pet falcon

Yes and no. They are out here but they don't turn up as often as back East.
I have never seen a complete set in an Antiques store. A friend of an FLer out here has one up on Craigs list right now. (My Norton software blocks me from opening the pix!)

Right now it is a matter of having the FUNDS for all of these delights not the availability. Such is life.
They are on craigslist here all the time, and Phx is generally devoid of antiques. Inexpensive too. I may outfit the guest bedroom with a set when we have it done.

I continue to search for vintage fountain pens!

I'd like to get:
vintage baseball mitt 1930's or so
old phones
vintage desk intercom system
cool old desk for the office
art deco radio
art deco waterfall bed room set

that's for a start.

Where shall I send them?

I have extras of all of these!

I have been wishing for a 1915 White "30" touring car, with a Leon Rubay body.

I really love the "beveled edge"style that was popular on fashionable machines in the mid-teens.

In addition, General Pershing drove (or rather was driven in) his personal White "30", in this body style, throughout the Mexican Punitive Expedition. He then took his machine to France, where he used it throughout the Great War.

Is it the falcon, the castle or the rather enigmatic-looking gentleman you want? Personally I'd wish for all three...

Hee hee - I want the falcon, but I love them all. The castle looks like a lot of upkeep. That's where the fella comes in I guess!

.Google Margam Castle...very much like the one in your picture. It's a twenty min drive from me...just love the place. The 28th Inf Div. "Keystones" from Pennsylvania were based there during WW2

Just in case.....there are -TWO- different deco complete bedroom sets on LA craigslist right now....that they only want 500 a set for. Both look super nice and there are lots of photos.

If you cannot find the ones I am talking about....PM me and I will give you the link.

John, just sell a pen...you cant sleep comfortably on a pen. ;)
