Everything goes better with Coke.
Coke is no.1 for me too, but as a Carolina girl, I also have to put in a vote for Cheerwine! SO GOOD.
Willing to fill us non-locals in on what we might be missing out on, LS?
You've got a PM, BTW!
if i'm out, i'll order Pepsi.
at home i drink ice cold coconut water.
Does milk with Ovaltine or Honey count?
I have been seeing that the stores near my neck of the woods have been carrying mexican Coca-Cola & Pepsi in glass bottles.
I had a mexican Pepsi with my lunch today. 12 ice cold ounces in a glass bottle. It hit the spot.
Depends where I am. If in a place that only has Pepsi products, I'll have Mt. Dew, Sierra Mist or water. All other times I switch between Coca Cola and Dr. Pepper (or Diet Dr. Pepper).
Has anyone ever tried IRN BRU?
Scotland's best soft drink. OK, the only soft drink from Scotland that I've ever had. Pretty interesting stuff.
I enjoy the Throwback products by PepsiCo. Mountain Dew Throwback and Pepsi Throwback are both very good and I prefer Pepsi Throwback to regular american Coke. I have never had mexican Coke and I wish more softdrink companies would start offering real sugar varieties as a constant product version.
If there's no hooch in it then no.
I'm working on arranging a Ginger Beer tasting, which should be fun.
That does sound fun! I love Ginger beer - either neat, or mixed with a good spiced rum, whiskey, or gin.
My favorite soft drink is Vernor's Gingerale. It's got to be Vernors. I was in Tennessee in October and bought a 12oz. glass bottle of Coke out of a vending machine, made with sugar instead of HFCS. Very good, reminded me of the good taste of Coke when I was a lad. But all in all, give me Vernors.
Dr. Pepper or Cream soda for the occasional carbonated treat. By far, my favorite is fresh brewed ice-tea - straight. If it's a good quality tea, no need for lemon or sugar!
I love Fentiman's ginger beer and their dandelion and burdock, too. But my very favourite drink at the moment is Barr's cream soda with raspberry which (as a fan of the Roald Dahl book The BFG) I refer to as 'frobscottle' as it is so very yummy... The bubbles don't fizz downwards though
Anything Barr's make is top. Personally think that Coke is made from rotten snozzcumbers!
That is why mexican coke is better... they use fresh, ripe snozzcucumbers.
They re-aired the Galco's Soad episode of Huell Howser's Visiting this past week. Even the update portion is old now.
1- tonic water
2- normal coke
3- a few local soft drinks, like Convenção and others...
