I use Aviation Gin for that one with Rose's sweetened lime.
Did you got the Raymond Chandler 50/50 route or Gary Regan's 4 to one recipe?
I didn't know there was any other recipe but Chandler's! lol

Hi James,
I like the dryness of Plymouth, and although I've never tried it, would probably find sweetened lime, a little too sweet for my taste. I always go the 4 to 1 ratio.....I like to taste the gin!

Give it a try and let us know which one works best for you. I am partial to the four to one.HI
Well, I've got the ingredients, I guess I'll have to try both tomorrow night. I have Rose's lime juice and some cheap gin since I'm not drinking all of it in G&T's anyway.

While the peaches are coming off of the trees- Thoroughbred cocktail
This recipe:
2 ounces Bourbon 1 1/2 ounces peach puree
1 ounce lemon juice
3 dashes Angostura bitters
splash club soda
crushed ice
1 slice candied ginger, for garnish (optional)
That's the one! I use a sliver of vanilla bean to garnish rather than ginger.
I have Red Haven and Hale Haven. Red Haven come off around the end of July, Hale Haven two weeks later.
That sounds like it would go good together. Last night I had a Glenfarclas 105 Cask Strength with a San Cristobal El Morro.18 year glenlivet with a Dunhill
Blatz. It must taste better over there.
